For our film, we decided to incorporate the bloody handprint that we originally planned to have on the wall in the film. However, due to set being restrictive we could not do it. The bloody handprint was found from Pinterest. The bloody handprint ties in to the thriller conventions. The name originated from our names; Eleanor and Sophie creating ELPHIE PRODUCTIONS. When this is placed before the film, the writing will be able to be seen clearly. It will be shown before our film begins to play. We have considered maybe zooming it in or out.

Filming
We filmed over three day and it took us a day to re film certain shots in which we thought would improve to film. During our filming process, we did makeup and hair on set. We kept all the makeup and hair products with us the entire time of filming ready for top ups. We also supplied the actors with food and drink, it was extremely cold that day and did not prepare for the cold weather. Mid way through filming we had a short one hour break due to the weather and just for the actors to relax.
Makeup:
The makeup we used was simple makeup just to make the actors appear less pale on screen. Th female actress had done her makeup herself before getting on set. We gave her images of how we wanted her makeup to look like and also spoke to her about what we expect. Her makeup was perfect and only slight top ups were needed for camera purposes. The male character (Jack Morgan) had some bronzer on his faced to create a glow type look. This made his skin appear better on camera and in comparison with the other actor, it showed a significant difference.
Hair:
Once again we showed the female actor of how we would like her hair to look like and it was done before being on set. Then hairspray and a comb was used to neaten her hair and hold it in place. The male character (Elliot Hale) had hair gel and hair spray put in his hair and a comb was used to create the middle parting. Similar to the female character, the male character (Jack Morgan) was informed of how to have his hair (in trend hairstyle). This was done off set and topped up with hairspray on set to hold it in place.
Costume:
During the filming process, we allowed the actors to wear their coats as it did not badly affect the filming. In some parts we did have to ask them to remove their clothing which meant we had to film as quickly as we could in order to stop them from getting too cold.

Production comments
What went well:
- We managed to film over two days.
- We successfully filmed a variation of shots in which flow together well.
- The café allowed us to shoot whilst there were people in there, it created a realistic setting.
- Despite the cold weather, the actors worked hard and continued to film. They did struggle but stayed motivated.
Improvements:
- Looking back at footage we realised that some of the clips were not as good as we hoped, so we have reconsidered different shots which we plan to shoot again this Sunday.
- Moreover, it was extremely cold therefore the cast struggled filming. We had to allow them to wear coats in a few scenes which we hadn't initially planned.
- During the editing process we realised we lacked transition shots meaning parts of the film did not flow as well.
- When shooting in the evening, it was too dark on the camera. These shots will be edited and fit a lot better when we film the other transitions.
To conclude, as a result of this filming, we have decided to re film a few scenes. By re filming we will add in more transition shots, improve our shot quality and make it more interesting. We decided to do this during the editing process in which we noticed that some shots were not stable, we have made notes on the shots we wish to improve and he re filming will begin this Sunday.
